New Delhi: Convicted murderer Aftab Poonawalla who was accused of Shraddha Walkar’s murder case in Delhi has once again come to light. Aftab has now requested the court to let him pursue higher studies. He is currently lodged in the Tihar jail. He has filed a petition in the Saket court for the same. He has made a formal request in the court seek permission for continuing his higher studies. He has asked that provisions should be made wherein h can get pencil and blank papers to make notes. He has also sought permission to get educational certificate and books.
Aftab asks for charge sheet
Apart from this, Aftab has also sought a soft copy of the charge sheet filed by the Delhi Police. Aftab’s lawyer MS Khan has said in the court that the charge sheet should be in proper manner. Aftab has said through his lawyer that the e-charge sheet has been given to the lawyer. But he is not able to read. The footage which has been provided also lacks quality. That’s why footage should be given according to the charge sheet folder and in a separate pen drive.

Charge sheet is 6,629 pages long
In fact, on January 24, the Delhi Police filed a 6,629-page charge sheet against Aftab Amin Poonawalla. The court had taken cognizance of the charge sheet filed against Aftab Amin Poonawalla on February 7. After this, instructions were given to check the documents.
Aftab had cut Shraddha into 35 pieces
Aftab had strangled his live-in-partner Shraddha Walker to death on 18 May 2022 after a quarrel. After this, his body was cut into 35 pieces. These pieces were kept in the fridge. After that he kept putting those pieces away. Aftab was reached through Shraddha’s mobile location and bank detail account. Aftab was arrested by the police on 12 November 2022.
