New Delhi: Bollywood actress and producer Pooja Bhatt has extended her support to Congress’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’. Pooja Bhatt briefly joined Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on a padyatra as the yatra resumed from Hyderabad city in Telangana on Wednesday morning.

Bharat Jodo Yatra enters 7th day in Telangana

Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra entered Hyderabad on Tuesday after an overwhelming response from party workers and supporters. The Yatra entered Hyderabad on the seventh day of its journey in Telangana after covering Narayanpet, Mahbubnagar and Rangareddy districts.

Thousands join the yatra as it enters Telangana

Congress MP and travel coordinator for Telugu states Uttam Kumar Reddy, Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, former MP Madhu Yaskhi Goud and other leaders along with hundreds of party workers took part in the yatra. Earlier on Tuesday, the padyatra reached Charminar via Puranapul, Hussaini Alam and Khilwat.

Rahul Gandhi unfurls the national flag

Rahul Gandhi unfurled the national flag at Charminar. Along with party leaders, hundreds of party workers and supporters, he paid tribute to his late father and former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. Every year the Congress organizes Sadbhavna Yatra Commemoration Day in Charminar. Awards are given to personalities working for peace and communal harmony.

The Bharat Jodi Yatra in Telangana will run till November 7 after a break of one day on Friday. It will cover a total distance of 375 km across 19 assembly and seven parliamentary constituencies in the state.
