Baba Siddique Murder: Accused Did Recce Of NCP Leader’s House, Says Mumbai Police

Mumbai Crime Branch has launched investigation into murder case of Baba Siddique.

Former Maharashtra Minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique was shot dead on Saturday evening in Bandra. According to the police, he was fired upon by two people and rushed to Lilavati Hospital where he breathed his last.

Mumbai police had apprehended assailants after the incident. Now, in a major development their identities have been disclosed by the Police.

Police said, the two accused have been identified as Karnail Singh from Haryana and Dharamraj Kashyap from Uttar Pradesh. They informed that assailants had done thorough recce of Baba Siddiqui’s house and office premises. They were in Mumbai for one and a half to two months and were keeping an eye on him.

Mumbai Police further informed that the search for the third accused is on and several teams of the Mumbai Crime Branch are investigating this case.

Mumbai Police Senior told that Mumbai Crime Branch officers are questioning both the arrested accused. It is revealed that accused were paid in advance for this work and had received arms delivery a few days ago. They both have been questioned by Mumbai Crime Branch officials for the last 8 hours.
