The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress have officially sealed their deal for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024. Today, both parties convened a joint press conference in Delhi to announce the details of their seat-sharing arrangement.

Who Was Present At The Press Conference?
Present at the conference were Atishi, Sandeep Pathak, and Saurabh Bhardwaj representing AAP, alongside Mukul Wasnik, Deepak Babaria, and Arvinder Singh Lovely from the Congress camp. Mukul Wasnik, a Congress leader, mentioned that discussions on seat allocation were underway among the parties forming the India Block, with the recent SP-Congress alliance announcement made in Lucknow two days prior.
AAP- Congress Press Conference Statement On Delhi
Wasnik disclosed that after extensive negotiations, an agreement on seat distribution between AAP and Congress had been reached. According to the arrangement, AAP will field candidates on four seats in Delhi, while Congress will retain three, including Chandni Chowk.
Congress To Contest On Chandigarh And Goa Seats
Congress will contest for the Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat as well as seats in Goa. In Haryana, Congress will contest on nine seats, with AAP fielding a candidate on one. In Gujarat, AAP will contest on two seats, while Congress will contest on 24.
