Moradabad: In a shocking incident from Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, a swimming pool owner allegedly murdered a 10-year-old boy by strangling him when the boy failed to pay ₹10. After the murder, the owner and his son reportedly filled the boy’s mouth and nose with sand, and then disposed of his body in a nearby field. The police have arrested the owner’s son on preliminary charges related to the incident.
According to information, Rajkumar and his son Veerpal illegally built a swimming pool in a field. They charge ₹10 for swimming. Sanjay Yadav’s deceased son Ayush used to go to the pool daily, often leaving without paying. On June 26, Wednesday evening, Ayush left home to bathe. When he did not return by late evening, his mother Seema became worried. She went to see him swimming, but there was no sign of him there.

Seema Yadav, along with her relatives, searched the fields around the pool and found Ayush’s body about 15 meters away from the pool. Meanwhile, D.I.G. Muniraj inspected the scene and obtained information about the boy from his mother. Seema Yadav accused Rajkumar and his son Veerpal, owners of the swimming pool, of murdering Ayush by strangling him after filling sand in his mouth and nose.
The police confirmed that the postmortem report of Ayush confirmed death by strangulation. They also stated that Veerpal has been taken into custody for questioning. His father is expected to be arrested soon as well.
