Six buses and two cars collided on the Yamuna Expressway near Mathura around 2 AM on Tuesday due to dense fog. The crash triggered a fire, causing panic among passengers. Several people lost their lives in the accident.
The vehicles, which were travelling from Agra to Noida, were involved in a pile-up so severe that all of them caught fire. While multiple fatalities have been reported, the exact number of deaths has not yet been officially confirmed.

What happened?
The incident occurred near milestone 125, close to Khadehra village under the Baldev police station area on the Agra–Noida route. A large number of fire tenders and police personnel rushed to the spot after receiving information. Rescue operations are underway, and the injured are being taken to hospitals by ambulance.

Saurabh, a survivor from Kanpur, said dense fog and poor visibility led to the accident. He said multiple vehicles collided, after which they caught fire. He added that more than five people were burned to death, while several others were injured and admitted to the hospital.
