Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir police and Army arrested three ‘hybrid’ militants along with huge consignment of arms and ammunition from outskirts of Srinagar, police said on Sunday.
“Army (2RR) and Srinagar Police arrested three hybrid terrorists along with a huge consignment of 03 AK rifles, 02 Pistols, 09 Magazines & 200 rounds from outskirts of Srinagar,” Kashmir Zone Police said on Twitter.

LeT terrorist killed in encounter
A hybrid Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) terrorist, who accompanying a police party for identifying a hideout, was killed during an encounter by the security forces in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday, police said.
The gunfight battle erupted at Cheki Dudoo area of Bijbehara during a cordon and search operation following an input about the presence of militants.
“When search party reached towards the suspected hideout, terrorists opened fire which hit one accused, hybrid terrorist of LeT Sajjad Tantray of Kulgam, who was with search party for identification of hideout. He was rushed to SDH Bijbehara where doctors declared him brought dead,” Kashmir Zone Police wrote on Twitter.
The police said Tantray was involved in the killing of a non-local labourer on November 13 at Rakhmomen, Bijbehara.
