Shrinagar: 2 jawans were killed and several injured after an Army vehicle has fallen into a deep gorge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri on Saturday.
As per information, a team of Army and police have reached the spot to rescue the soldiers. The injured were taken to hospital. The rescue operation is still going on.
According to officials, the accident occurred when an ambulance of the force skidded off the road at a sharp turn near Dungi Gala near the Line of Control and fell into a gorge.

In December last year, 16 army personnel were killed and four others were injured when their vehicle skidded off a steep slope near North Sikkim. The vehicle was part of a three-vehicle convoy that had moved from Chatan towards Thangu in the morning. Crashed on the way to Zema.
