Assam earthquake: A tremour of 4.4 magnitude on Monday morning jolted parts of Assam. It was the strong tremors felt for a few seconds in Guwahati and nearby regions. The epicentre of the earthquake was Sonitpur, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).
