Jammu: As many as 17 persons are reported injured after the bus they were travelling in turned turtle in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district on Monday.

Media reports suggest that the accident took place when the bus, carrying “Baraatis” turned turtle near Tarkundi village in Manjakote Block of Rajouri.

At least 17 persons were injured in the accident and were rushed to the nearby hospital.

“At least 17 people, who were part of a wedding procession, were injured in a road accident in Tarkundi in Manjakote Block in Rajouri district after their bus overturned,” Deputy SP Traffic Rajouri, Aftab Bukhakri was quoted as saying.
