MP Bus accident: In a tragic incident, a bus carrying around 50 passengers on Tuesday fell off from the bridge in Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh. At least 22 people died in the accident and 25 were injured, according to the local official. The death toll may increase as many people missing.
According to the information, the accident took place on Khargone Thikri Marg. After the information of the accident, the police reached the spot and with the help of the local people, the injured were admitted to the nearest hospital.
Khargone SP Dharamveer Singh said that 22 people were killed and 25 injured when a bus fell off a bridge in Khargone. At present, the rescue operation is going on at the spot.

After the information of the accident, compensation and financial assistance has been announced by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh. The Madhya Pradesh government has announced immediate financial assistance of Rs 4-4 lakh to the families of the deceased, Rs 50-50 thousand to the seriously injured and Rs 25-25 thousand to the minorly injured in the Khargone bus accident.

According to the information, the passenger bus was going towards Indore. Meanwhile, the driver of the bus lost control near Dasanga on Khargone-Temla road after which the bus fell down from the bridge.
