Disney’s ‘Zootopia’ brought a new buddy cop style film for kids in 2016, but it was also well-received by audiences of different age groups. The movie is back with a sequel after nine years and will focus on a new, interesting yet fun case. Disney has officially unveiled the trailer for ‘Zootopia 2’ and introduced some new characters.

‘Zootopia 2’ will introduce Ke Huy Quan as the voice of Gary De’Snake, Fortune Feimster as the voice of Nibbles and Quinta Brunson as the voice of Dr. Fuzzby.
The official description of ‘Zootopia 2’ reads, “After cracking the biggest case in Zootopia’s history, rookie cops Judy Hopps (voice of Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voice of Jason Bateman) find their partnership isn’t as solid as they thought when Chief Bogo (voice of Idris Elba) orders them to join the Partners in Crisis counseling program. But it doesn’t take long for their partnership to be put to the ultimate test when they find themselves on the twisting trail of a mystery tied to the arrival of a venomous snake in the animal metropolis.”
While talking about the film, director/writer Jared Bush said in a statement, “It’s been an absolute joy to reteam with so many actors who made the first film so special, and so exciting to expand the world with our phenomenal new cast members. I can’t wait for audiences to see what other surprises we have in store in this brand-new adventure.”
‘Zootopia 2’ will release in theatres on November 26, 2025, overseas, and on November 28, 2025, in India. The movie stars Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Nate Torrence, and Shakira in the lead roles, and they will reprise their roles from the first part. The sequel is directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard.
