Jung Chae-yull’s death: South Korean actress and Zombie Detective fame Jung Chae-yull was found dead in her home on April 11 KST. The actress was 26 years old. The reason behind her death has not been revealed yet. The news of her death has been reported by the international publication Koreaboo. The model-turned-actress agency Management S confirmed the news with a statement.

While confirming her death, the agency also informed that the family is hosting a private funeral. They also requested fans not to spread any kind of speculations and rumours.
“Today, we are relaying sorrowful and heartbreaking news. Actress Jung Chae Yull has left our side on April 11, 2023. In accordance with the wishes of the bereaved family who must have been in greater sadness than anyone else, the funeral will be held quietly in private,” the agency said.
“Please wish for Jung Chae Yull, who had always been earnest in her pursuit of acting, to rest in peace in a warm place. We earnestly request that you refrain from writing speculative articles or spreading rumors,” they added.

As soon as the news flooded the internet, many social media users and her fans took to her last Instagram post and showed their condolences. Three days back, the actress posted a series of photos, in which she can be seen enjoying some music, and drinks. Following her death news, the post is full of comments such as “May the soul rest in peace.”

Jung Chae-yull’s Work Front
Talking about her work, the actress was currently shooting for her forthcoming drama, ”Wedding Impossible.” After hearing about her death news, the production crew reportedly stopped the shooting. “We express our deep condolences. Future filming schedule is under internal discussion,” a spokesperson from the production team said.
For unawares, Jung Chae-yull made her debut with the show Devil’s Runway in 2016. After that, she was seen in the 2018 film Deep.
