Zarine Khan, Sussanne Khan and Zayed Khan’s mother and Sanjay Khan’s wife, passed away on Thursday at the age of 81. She reportedly died due to age-related ailments and took her last breath at her residence in Mumbai.
Her funeral took place at the Juhu crematorium, where family members and close friends gathered to pay their last respects. Among those spotted were Hrithik Roshan, Saba Azad, Bobby Deol, Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan, Nargis Fakhri, Rakul Preet Singh, Aly Goni, Jasmin Bhasin, and Jackie Shroff, among others.

When chaos broke out as photographers crowded the entrance, Jackie Shroff immediately stepped in. Dressed in a white kurta pyjama and cap, he calmly asked them to show some respect, saying, “Thoda tameez se, behave karo.”
Born in the 1940s, Zarine Khan was one of the early faces of India’s fashion and advertising world, admired for her elegance and timeless beauty. She also acted in films like Tere Ghar Ke Samne (1963) with Dev Anand before becoming an interior designer. She is survived by her husband Sanjay Khan and their children Sussanne Khan, Simone Arora, Farah Ali Khan, and Zayed Khan.
