Sonakshi Sinha recently made it to the headlines due to her pregnancy rumours. Although the actress and her husband, Zaheer Iqbal, also an actor, did not comment on the rumours, their recent interaction was enough to shut them down. At a recent event, Zaheer poked fun at pregnancy rumours by touching Sonakshi’s stomach, hinting at a baby bump.
Sonakshi did not held back at her laughter as Zaheer made fun of the pregnancy rumours. The couple attended Ramesh Taurani’s Diwali celebration on Wednesday.
Sonakshi and Zaheer Iqbal tied the knot in 2024. Sharing the pictures of their wedding, the couple wrote, “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife. On the work front, Sonakshi Sinha was last seen in the web series ‘Heeramandi’, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The show also stars Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sharmin Segal Mehta and Taha Shah Badussha. Heeramandi has also been renewed for its second season but the details about its cast have not been unveiled.
She will next star in Jatadhara along with Sudheer Babu in the lead role. Directed by Venkat Kalyan, Jatadhara is backed by Zee Studios’ Umesh KR Bansal, Prerna Arora, Aruna Agarwal, and Shivin Narang.
