Tripti Dimri, known for her significant role in Ranbir Kapoor’s widely talked-about movie Animal, has garnered praise for portraying Zoya in the film. During a recent interview, Triptii delved into the experience of filming intimate scenes with Ranbir and recounted her parents’ response upon seeing those moments on screen. She mentioned that it took some time for her parents to come to terms with it.
Speaking with Bollywood Hungama, Tripti said, “My parents got a little taken aback. (They said) We have never seen something like this in films and you have done it. It took them time to get over that scene. They were very sweet to me though. They were like, ‘You shouldn’t have done that but it’s okay. As parents, we will obviously feel this.’ And I told them I am not doing anything wrong. It’s my job and as long as I am comfortable and safe, I don’t see any problem in that. I am an actor and I have to be 100 percent honest with the character that I play and I did that.”
Earlier, in an interview with E Times, Tripti shared details about how Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the director of Animal, ensured privacy during the filming of intimate scenes. She disclosed that the set was closed, with only herself, Ranbir, Vanga, and the cinematographer present. She said “Every five minutes, they were asking me, ‘Are you okay? Is there something you want?’” she said, adding that she didn’t feel uncomfortable because she was being taken care of.
‘Animal’, helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga hit the theatres on December 1. The film is having a dream run at the box office. The film also stars, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor among others in pivotal roles.
