Sister’s Take On The Divorce
Singh’s sister shared her perspective on the difficult period following the divorce, noting that it was challenging for their family to prove their side of the story amidst external controversies. She expressed that many people were unwilling to believe them due to the surrounding drama.
His sister recounted a troubling incident during a US tour, where Shalini allegedly pressured Honey to perform despite his visible signs of mental distress and vocal refusals. She recalled receiving a desperate message from Honey, pleading for help: “Mujhe please bacha lo, gudiya mujhe please bacha le” (Please save me, doll, please save me). After attempting to contact Shalini for assistance, his sister was told to convince him to go through with the performance. “I was trying to reach out to Shalini. She said, ‘He has to do this show. You convince him to do this show’,” she shared.
Despite his pleas for help and a three-hour period without contact, Honey’s sister later learned that he had been hospitalized with stitches on his head, highlighting the severity of the situation.
