Comedian Kiku Sharda has put an end to speculation about his future on The Great Indian Kapil Show, clarifying that rumours of a fallout with co-star Krushna Abhishek are baseless.
Taking to Instagram, Kiku posted a black and white photo with Krushna, where the duo posed with fingers on their lips. He captioned it: “yeh bandhan… kabhi nahi tootega! 💪🙌 the ‘fight’ was a prank only… Don’t fall for all this gossip and rumours ki I’ve left The Great Indian Kapil Show. I’ll always be a part of the show and this parivaar. Toh yeh sab chhodo aur jao Netflix pe show dekho – sirf 3 episode baaki hain.”

What Actually Happened
His clarification comes after a clip went viral, showing what appeared to be a tense exchange between the two comedians. In the clip, Kiku is heard asking, “Timepass kar raha hoon (Am I doing time pass)?” to which Krushna replies, “Toh phir thik hai aap kar lo. Main jata hoon yaha se (Okay, then you do it. I am leaving).” The conversation eventually ended on a lighter note, with Krushna telling Kiku, “I love you and respect you, I don’t want to raise my voice,” and Kiku clarifying that the moment was being misinterpreted.
Kiku Sharda, known for playing Bumper Lottery on The Great Indian Kapil Show, remains part of the Netflix comedy, which has only a few episodes left this season. He will also be seen in Ashneer Grover’s upcoming reality show Rise and Fall on Amazon MX Player, which premieres today, September 6, on Amazon MX Player.
