Pamela Chopra’s death: Famous filmmaker Yash Chopra’s wife Pamela Chopra passed away today in the morning. She was 74 years old. She was a well-known Indian playback singer and also a film writer and producer in her own rights. As per the reports, from the last 15 days, the singer was admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati hospital and was on a ventilator by the doctors but her health worsened.

Pamela Chopra’s appearance in YRF documentary
Pamela Chopra’s last appearance was in the YRF documentary film The Romantics, where she discussed her marriage to Yash Chopra and his journey. In addition to Yash Chopra’s achievements in the Hindi film industry, Pamela’s were also acknowledged in The Romantics. Before the premiere of his debut movie as a producer, Daag (1973), the filmmaker spent many sleepless nights, as Pamela recalled on the programme. Pamela also worked on the script for the 1997 movie Dil To Pagal Hai, which she co-wrote with her husband Yash Chopra, her son Aditya Chopra, and renowned writer Tanuja Chandra. Additionally, she has only made one screen appearance. In the opening song of the movie Dil To Pagal Hai, Ek Duje Ke Vaaste, she and her partner first appeared together on screen.
Pamela Chopra’s personal life
Pamela married Yash Chopra in a Hindu ceremony in 1970. It was a prearranged union. Aditya and Uday Chopra are their two sons. Film producer and director Aditya married Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji.
