Shah Rukh Khan has played several iconic characters in his career but his role in Main Hoon Na is truly memorable and a fan-favourite. Directed by Farah Khan, the movie became a massive success and still gives fans nostalgia. According to recent reports, Farah Khan is working on the sequel of ‘Main Hoon Na’.
According to Pinkvilla, the filmmaker and a team of writers are currently working on the script of ‘Main Hoon Na 2’. “Farah has come up with an idea for the sequel, and Shah Rukh loves the direction she’s planning to take. The screenplay is currently in progress, with collaboration between Farah’s writing team and in-house writers at Red Chillies,” a source close to the development was quoted as saying.
The source added, “Shah Rukh is clear that he doesn’t want to greenlight a sequel just for the sake of nostalgia. He understands how iconic Main Hoon Na is and has asked for a solid script that surpasses the impact of the original.”

Main Ho Na stars Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role with Sushmita Sen, Suniel Shetty, Amrita Rao, and Zayed Khan seen in pivotal roles. Kirron Kher, Murali Sharma, Kabir Bedi, Boman Irani, and Naseeruddin Shah were also seen in supporting roles. The movie revolves around Major Ram Prasad Sharma, who has to pose as a college student in a secret mission. He has to protect the general’s daughter and also unite with his father’s estranged family.
