Widespread Fan Outrage Over Mahesh Babu’s Khaleja Re-Release Due To THIS Reason!

Mahesh Babu’s Khaleja re-release faced fan fury as some scenes and the iconic “Sunday Monday” song were missing.

The much anticipated re-release of Mahesh Babu’s 2010 cult classic Khaleja turned chaotic as fans were left angry after finding out that many scenes and songs were missing. Videos circulating online show fans stopped the film, argued with staff, and even damaged property after discovering that significant scenes of the film had been trimmed.

Videos on social media show fans shouting at the theatre staff and demanding that the full version of the movie be shown. According to fans, about 30 minutes of the film were cut, including famous dialogues and the hit song “Sunday Monday.”

Many fans shared their frustration as the iconic song was trimmed from the movie and shared a clip showing how everything is a mess outside the theatre.

In one clip, people are seen fighting inside the theatre. In another, broken glass and confused staff can be seen. Fans said they were especially disappointed that iconic scenes like “Nalo naku devudu kanipisthunnadu” and “Evadu kodithe dhimma thirigi…” were not included.

Khaleja is a 2010 Indian Telugu fantasy action comedy film written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas. It stars Mahesh Babu and Anushka, alongside Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh, Shafi, Sunil, Ali, and Subbaraju in supporting roles. The film is about Raju, a taxi driver who is suddenly believed to be a godsend for a village affected by a strange illness. He has to accept this new role and help save the villagers.
