Mumbai: Actor Janhvi Kapoor posted a heartfelt note wishing her mother and renowned actoress of her own time, Sridevi on the latter’s 60th birth anniversary. In an Instagram post, Janhvi posted a black and white picture of Sridevi and said “Happy Birthday Mumma” and called her ’35-year-old’.
The picture showed a throwback picture in which Sridevi was sitting in her mother Rajeswari lap during a shoot pof one of her films.

Sridevi was born in 1963 and her original name was Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan. There is no one in the nation who cannot recognise Sridevi. Her marvellous work has given a classic touch to Indian cinema.
She was well known for her majestic expressions and amazing dancing skills. She had worked with Bollywood’s huge actors like Amrish Puri, Anil Kapoor and many more.
Any role that she ever played was rememberable. Some of her major roles in films were in ‘Chaalbaaz’, ‘Chandni’, ‘Lamhe’, ‘Nagina’, ‘Sadma’ ‘Mr India’ and ‘English Vinglish’ among many more.
Sridevi had also received the Padma Shri award for her extraordinary performances in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam films.
The actor died on February 24, 2018 in Dubai. She was found lying in a bath tub in hotel room under mysterious circumstances. She had gone to attend a family function.
