As for the location, several reports were floating that the couple are considering a destination wedding in Rajasthan or some where outside the country. However, there is no truth about it. The confirmed reports suggest that Naga and Sobhita will get hitched at the famous Annapurna Studios, a film studio located in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. A special mandapam will be built at the venue.
Emotional connection with Annapurna Studios?
Naga Chaitanya has a deep connection with the venue as it was built by his grandfather and Telugu actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao and his mentor Dukkipati Madhusudana Rao. Akkineni Nageswara Rao took this bold step of revolutionising the Telugu film industry in 1976 by shifting the base to Hyderabad – Capital city of Andhra Pradesh. Earlier, business was done from Chennai, which posed several challenges for the filmmakers. Rao became a trailblazer and several others followed him thereafter. He made it clear that he would only participate in films produced within Andhra Pradesh, with the exception of Vauhini and Venus Studios, for which he continued to work in Madras.
Besides producing and distributing films, the studio also provides several other production facilities including sound stages for set construction, outdoor sets, editing, dubbing and digital intermediate suites.
The studio, which has given several hit films, caught fire in 2017, leading to the destruction of a 2 crore set. While talking about the unfortunate incident, Nagarjuna said that though nobody was injured, it was a big blow since the set erected for film Manam was gutted. He also added that the memories of his father and legendary actor were associated with it.
