Zaheer Iqbal, set to marry Sonakshi Sinha in the future, debuted in Notebook, a film produced by Salman Khan, whose owes money to Zaheer’s father, Iqbal Ratansi.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are preparing for their upcoming wedding on June 23, marking a new chapter in their lives. Interestingly, there’s a Salman Khan connection to Sonakshi’s marriage as well. Zaheer’s father, Iqbal Ratansi, had previously loaned money to Salman Khan, adding a unique twist to the family ties.

In a 2018 Twitter post, Salman Khan humorously acknowledged his childhood friend Iqbal, mentioning their financial history: “N this is my childhood frnd Iqbal, as a teen he was my bank, I still owe him ₹ 2011. thnk God he did not take interest bete ko launch Kar raha hoon toh baap ka post toh karsakta hoon na. Lv the pic.” Iqbal Ratansi, involved in construction and the jewellery business, also has a daughter, Sanam Ratansi, who is a prominent Bollywood celebrity stylist. Zaheer Iqbal, who made his acting debut in Salman’s production Notebook, is also known for his role as an assistant director in Salman’s 2014 film, Jai Ho.

 Iqbal Ratani’s business

Iqbal Ratansi is involved in both the construction and jewelry industries. His ventures span across these sectors, contributing to his established business presence.

Ratansi established Stelmac Developers Private Limited in 2005 and served as its director until 2011. Subsequently, he founded Blackstone Housing and Infrastructure Private Limited. Additionally, he ventured into the film production equipment business, launching Film Tools, Lights, and Grip in February 2016. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he also founded Zahero Media and Internet Private Limited.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal appeared together in Double XL, alongside Huma Qureshi, who also co-produced the film. While the couple frequently shares pictures and videos of their romantic holidays and date nights, they have maintained privacy regarding their relationship with the media. As their wedding date approaches this weekend, speculation is rife about the involvement of their families and the guest list for the event.
