A heartbreaking news has emerged from the entertainment industry, leaving fans shocked and saddened. Popular comedian and actor Rakesh Poojary has passed away at the young age of 33. The cause of death is reported to be a sudden heart attack.

Collapsed During Friend’s Mehendi Ceremony

As per the reports of India Today, this incident took place near Nitte in Karkala, Udupi district. Rakesh had gone there to attend a friend’s mehendi ceremony but suddenly collapsed around late night. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital but despite putting the best efforts, doctors couldn’t save him.

However, a case has been registered at the Karkala Town Police Station, regarding sudden and unnatural death.

Rakesh Poojary In Comedy Khiladigalu Season 3

Rakesh Poojary has gained widespread popularity through the Kannada reality show ‘Comedy Khiladigalu Season 3’. After winning the show in 2020, he became a household name across Karnataka. Before this, he was also part of the runner-up team in Season 2 of the same show in 2018.

Rakesh Poojary’s Film Career

Rakesh began his career with the Chaitanya Kalavidaru theatre group, performing on stage. In 2014, he was first seen in the Tulu reality show ‘Kadala Bajjilu’, which aired on a private channel.

He also appeared in films like ‘Pailwaan’ and ‘Idu Entha Lokavayya’. His other notable films include ‘Elkkele’, ‘Amar Police’, ‘Pamman the Great’ and ‘Umil’.
