Nandamuri Padmaja, the eldest daughter-in-law of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR), passed away in the early hours of Tuesday at the age of 73. As per the report, she was unwell for some time and was getting treatment as well. According to Glute, she experienced difficulty in breathing and was rushed to the hospital, but couldn't be revived despite the immediate treatment.

Several celebrities and politicians paid their last respects to her upon hearing about Padmaja's demise. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who is Sr. NTR's son-in-law, reportedly left Vijayawada to be with his family. BJP leader Daggubati Purandeswari, Padmaja's sister-in-law, has reportedly left Delhi to accompany her family.
