Nandamuri Padmaja, the eldest daughter-in-law of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR), passed away in the early hours of Tuesday at the age of 73.

Nandamuri Padmaja, the eldest daughter-in-law of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR), passed away in the early hours of Tuesday at the age of 73. As per the report, she was unwell for some time and was getting treatment as well. According to Glute, she experienced difficulty in breathing and was rushed to the hospital, but couldn’t be revived despite the immediate treatment.

Who Was Nandamuri Padmaja?

Padmaja was the wife of Nandamuri Jayakrishna and the eldest daughter-in-law of legendary actor and former Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. She was the sister of politician Daggubati Venkateswara Rao.

Several celebrities and politicians paid their last respects to her upon hearing about Padmaja’s demise. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who is Sr. NTR’s son-in-law, reportedly left Vijayawada to be with his family. BJP leader Daggubati Purandeswari, Padmaja’s sister-in-law, has reportedly left Delhi to accompany her family.
