He is none other than legendary actor and comedian Brahmanandam, who mostly works in Telugu cinema.
Brahmanandam has appeared in over 1000 movies, holding the Guinness World Record for the most screen credits for a living actor. He has also received several accolades for his performances, including six Nandi Awards and two Filmfare Awards. In 2009, he was also honoured with the Padma Shri, which is India’s fourth-highest civilian award.
Before joining films, he worked as a lecturer and also worked in theatre and as a mimicry artist. He made his debut on the television screens in 1985 with the show ‘Pakapakalu’. His breakthrough role came after he worked in the 1987 film ‘Aha Naa Pellanta!’.
He is best known for his roles in Money, Anna, Anaganaga Oka Roju, Vinodam, Ready, Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam, Adhurs, Dookudu, Manmadhudu, to name a few. Apart from being one of the finest comic actors in India, he is also one of the wealthiest comedians in Indian cinema. As per reports, he has a net worth of Rs 500 to 550 crore.
In 2025, he starred in the films ‘Junior’ and ‘Mithra Mandali’. Last year, he was seen in several prominent and big-budgeted films, including ‘Game Changer’, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ and several others.
Apart from Telugu films, Brahmanandam has established his name in Tamil and Kannada cinema as well. He has lent his voice to many films.
