The game inside the Bigg Boss 19 house has turned intense with the entry of a new wild card contestant. Malti Chahar is the new entry and has already changed the dynamic among the housemates. From some contestants warmly welcoming Malti to some of them showcasing their apprehension about her, her entry has surely intensified.
Who is Malti Chahar?
According to Malti’s Instagram, she is an actor, writer and director. She has also participated in Miss India, where she won the title of Miss India Earth in 2009 and Miss Photogenic at Femina Miss India Delhi 2014. She is the sister of ace Indian cricketer Deepak Chahar, who also appeared in the Weekend Ka Vaar episode to introduce Malti as the wild card contestant.
According to News18, she did her schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya in Agra and graduated as a software engineer from the Institute of Engineering and Technology in Lucknow.
Talking about her acting, Malti made her debut in the 2017 short film ‘Manicure’ and also starred in the Bollywood film ‘Genius’. She turned director for her film ‘O Maaeri’.
Meanwhile, as per another report by India Forums, Shikhaa Malhotra and Tia Kar are also expected to appear in Bigg Boss 19 as wild card contestants. According to Shikhaa’s Instagram profile, she is an actor, singer, performer and nursing officer. She seemed to have confirmed her participation in ‘Bigg Boss 19’ as a wild card through several posts. Meanwhile, Tia Kar is a singer and songwriter. She also participated in Indian Idol and Asian Waves. She posts several vlogs, song covers and dance videos on her Instagram page.
Apart from Malti, there are 14 contestants in Bigg Boss 19. Gaurav Khanna, Shehbaz Badesha, Amaal Mallik, Ashnoor Kaur, Zeishan Qadri, Baseer Ali, Abhishek Bajaj, Tanya Mittal, Kunicka Sadanand, Pranit More, Nehal Chudasama, Mridul Tiwari and Farhana Bhatt are currently inside the house. Host Salman Khan announced no eviction this week.
