Arjun Mathur, best known for his role in ‘Made In Heaven’, married his long-time girlfriend Tiya Tejpal recently. The photo from their beautiful intimate wedding went viral on social media and it came as a surprise for Arjun’s fans. The actor has not hidden his relationship and has mostly remained tight-lipped about his personal life. For the unversed, Tiya is a talented production designer and worked in several movies and web series.
On Instagram, Arjun has posted several projects with Tiya over the years, in which the two can be seen at different events, with their friends and posing with their cats. See their adorable pictures as a couple together.
Tiya has worked in ‘My Name Is Khan’, ‘Luck By Chance’, ‘Karwaan’, ‘The White Tiger’, ‘Killer Soup’ and ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’, among others. She is also the daughter of journalist Tarun Tejpal.
While speaking with Hindustan Times, Arjun revealed that he and Tiya wanted an intimate and private wedding. He said, “Tiya and I have been as good as married for many years now, and it was simply time for us to solemnise. We were extremely fortunate to be able to keep it as small and intimate as we wanted. We believe that intimacy is beautiful, as long as it stays private. Once public, it becomes something else, which we have all seen enough of in recent times.”
Talking about his wedding ceremony, the actor added, “We had a beautiful ceremony, and are extremely grateful for every wish and blessing. We would like very much to maintain our privacy as we celebrate our togetherness at this joyous time.”
On the work front, Arjun was last seen in the second season of ‘Made In Heaven’. He recently won the Best Performance (Male) Series award at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2024. He was also nominated at International Emmy Award in the Best Actor category.
