Kim Sae-Ron’s Acting Journey
Born on 31 July 2000, Kim Sae-Ron began acting at the age of nine. She gained widespread recognition for her performances in films like A Brand New Life (2009) and The Man From Nowhere (2010). As she grew older, she took on more prominent roles, including A Girl at My Door (2014) and Secret Healer (2016).
Struggles In Recent Years
Despite her early success, Kim faced personal and professional challenges in recent years. In May 2022, she was involved in a drunk driving incident in Seoul, which caused significant property damage and led to legal trouble. Following the controversy, she publicly apologised and withdrew from acting.
Kim also faced financial struggles and had to take part-time jobs to support herself. She was planning a return to acting in a stage play in May 2024 but had to drop out due to health issues. Her last project was Bloodhounds (2023).
