The seventh season of Bigg Boss Malayalam kicked off on Sunday with Mohanlal returning as the host. Produced by Endemol Shine India and Banijay, the show airs on Asianet and is live streamed on JioCinema (formerly Hotstar). During the premiere, Mohanlal introduced this season’s lineup of contestants, which includes Gizele Thakral.
Gizele is from Rajasthan and is already popular on social media, with 1.4 million followers on Instagram. Although she is new to the Malayalam TV arena, she’s been part of many shows before and is no stranger to the spotlight.
Who Is Gizele Thakral?
Gizele began her modelling career at the age of 14. She was born on September 4, 1996. She went on to win several beauty titles including Miss Rajasthan, Miss Best Body, and Miss Potential. She later made her way into fashion weeks across Paris, London, and Milan, establishing herself in the global fashion before trying her hand at acting.
Gizele first made national headlines as a contestant on Bigg Boss Hindi Season 9, hosted by Salman Khan. Even though she didn’t win, she gained a lot of attention.
Following her stint in Bigg Boss, she appeared in several adult comedies including Kya Kool Hain Hum 3, Mastizaade, and the film Escobar. She also took part in TV reality shows like Survivor India and Welcome – Baazi Mehmaan Nawazi Ki.

Superstar Mohanlal returned as the host for the seventh season of Bigg Boss Malayalam, which will air for approximately three months. The grand premiere was filled with excitement and glamour, featuring vibrant performances by the new contestants, setting the stage for an entertaining season.
After his entry, the Thudarum actor gave viewers a tour of the newly designed Bigg Boss house. He showed the audience the spacious kitchen, colourful dining area, and the fancy bedroom.
