About India’s Got Latent Controversy:
In the latest episode of ‘India’s Got Latent’ hosted by Samay Raina, YouTubers Ranveer Allahbadia and Ashish Chanchlani were the guests alongside Apoorva. The backlash was caused due to Ranveer’s question for one contestant as he said, “Watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life. Or would you join in once and stop it forever?” Later, Apoorva also asked, “have you ever seen v*****?”
A complaint has been filed on Monday against Ranveer, Apoorva and Samay and the organisers of India’s Got Latent. The complaint has been filed with the Mumbai Commissioner and Maharashtra Women’s Commission for allegedly using abusive language on the show and strict action has been demanded against the accused in the letter.

After the backlash, the youtuber posted a video on X and shared his regret by saying, “My comment wasn’t just inappropriate, it wasn’t even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I’m just here to say sorry. Many of you asked if this is how I wish to use my platform and obviously this is not how I wish to use it. I’m not going to give any context or justification or reasoning behind whatever happened.”
YouTube has removed this controversial episode after getting notice from the government. Meanwhile, Mumbai Police have called Ranveer Allahbadia and Raina for questioning as part of the ongoing controversy.
