The argument started when Rajiv said Orry had disrespected legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar and pop star Falguni Pathak in a reel. Things escalated when Orry commented on one of Rajiv’s posts, mocking his appearance by saying he looked like “he ate 5 Orrys and poured a bottle of cheap foundation and fake tan on his face.”
Rajiv hit back in his Instagram Stories, stating: “Didn’t want to reply to this idiot, but thinks he needs a reality check! Firstly, Orry, I feel sorry for you! What have you achieved in life other than to put your hand on people’s chests and take photos? Do you know the definition of working hard because you won the award for talking s**t.”
He further added, “You are not even the mentally League of Many! You think you and hip and call with your phone cases and shaven chest! My dear, integrity, morals, values, and character make you a human! All which you don’t have! Stop giving yourself so much importance, my dear! Never utter a legend’s name, dude! Instead of apologising, you are attacking me for calling you out! No, please go and take some more pics with your Minions! Grow up and start acting your age!”
He also added a playful jab about Orry’s makeup: “(By the way, the foundation is Charlotte Tillbury).” Rajiv captioned his post: “Didn’t want to reply to this fool! But he needs a reality check!! Sorry for the grammatical errors I was jogging and wrote this.”

Rajiv Adatia addressed the reactions to his previous comment about Orry, saying that while some people criticized him, others agreed. He added on his Instagram story,
Rajiv Adatia said, “I’ve seen all your messages and love! Honestly I don’t normally reply to such people! They don’t exist for me! But It needed to be said! I just encourage celebs to have the b**ls not to suck up to such people and to speak out when wrong happens! I’m still bewildered how celebs in particular entertain such behaviour and vulgarity in the industry and think it’s cool! This is not what our future generation should look like! People are not laughing with you they are laughing at you! Anyway not gonna talk about this anymore! Anyone wanna go to McDonalds and put on cheap foundation!! just saving!” (sic)

Background of the Controversy
The controversy started after Orry attended Falguni Pathak’s live show and referred to her as “Falguni peacock singing on stage.” He also misnamed Lata Mangeshkar as “Lata Mangeshwari, queen of Garba” on social media.
Rajiv expressed disappointment over the disrespect shown to national legends, saying: “Some things are just not funny! There is a fine line of being funny and disrespecting the legends of our Country!! Lataji was like family to me and I didn’t find it funny! Not one bit!! People and kids see social media! How we portray ourselves is extremely important! Be mindful!”
He also apologised to Falguni Pathak for Orry’s comments, to which she responded simply with a “Thank you” in the comments.
