This is not a week for the weak-hearted at the movies. Every film being released this week—Vivek Agnihotri’s Bengal Files, Murugadoss’ Dil Madharaasi, Krish Jagarlamudi’s Ghaati—are all ultra-violent films.
But the Tiger Shroff starrer Baaghi 4 takes the ‘ache.’ The film is a never-ending blood-fest with gruesome killings spilling out in a non-stop flow, so much so that, believe it or not, the makers decided to voluntarily cut down the violence after the film was censored with an ‘A’ certificate.
Says a source close to the project, “The film was passed with an ‘A’ certificate with several major cuts. But the makers of Baaghi 4 approached the CBFC once again as they voluntarily decided to further cut down the violence. They cut around ten minutes of the footage and submitted the film for re-censoring.”
