In the end, Wednesday received a strange journal that triggered visions of a hidden cellar. In those flashes, the mysterious women were trapped underground, surrounded by cryptic markings. She later reappeared in the final moments of the season, shown only from behind, scrawling “Wednesday must die” on a wall.
Eva Green’s addition to the lineup adds a new tone to the series. Known for her intense and eccentric roles, she is expected to bring an unpredictable essence. Her character of Ophelia will challenge the Addams family in cruel ways, as she was presumed to be dead. Her connections to Morticia open the door to deep family secrets and long-buried betrayals that have never been explored on screen.
Several familiar faces will return, and Jenna Ortega continues as Wednesday. Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzman reprise their roles of Morticia and Gomez Addams, with Issac Ordonez returning as Pugsley.
