Netflix’s hit supernatural teen drama Wednesday is all set to return with Season 2, which will roll out in two parts. The first half, consisting of four episodes, premieres globally on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, marking the highly anticipated return of Wednesday Addams and her darkly whimsical world at Nevermore Academy.
Things soon turn dark after Wednesday witnesses a killing spree and decides to solve the mystery behind it. The trailer of ‘Wednesday Season 2’ showcases the new threats as Wednesday returns to her school along with her family.

- New Principal In Nevermore – In the first season, Nevermore’s principal, Larissa Weems, is killed while saving the school and Wednesday. Steve Buscemi has joined the show in the second season as the new principal of the school.
- Wednesday’s Popularity Grows – After Wednesday saves the school from Marilyn Thornhill or Laurel Gates, she surprisingly becomes popular. In the trailer, it is shown that Wednesday receives a warm welcome from the principal and other students in Nevermore.
- A New Threat – A new threat arrives at the Nevermore Academy, and Wednesday is eager to solve this case too. However, she is taken aback after she sees a vision of Enid being killed.
- Enid: Dead Or Alive? – Wednesday confides in her mother, Morticia Addams, that she saw the vision of Enid being killed, and she is responsible for her death. As Wednesday and Enid develop a beautiful bond in the first season, Wednesday is worried about Enid’s safety.
- Wednesday’s Family In Nevermore – As Wednesday starts a new year in Nevermore, it is shown that her younger brother will also join the school after gaining powers. Wednesday’s family will also be seen in the school, much to her dismay.

Wednesday Season 2 stars Jenna Ortega in the title role. Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Georgie Farmer, Naomi J. Ogawa, and Moosa Mostafa will also reprise their roles from the previous season. Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor have joined the show as the new cast.
