Wednesday Season 2, starring Jenna Ortega in the titular role, is currently one of the most awaited shows on Netflix. The new season is returning after the wait of more than two years and Netflix has release its exciting teaser. Meanwhile, the makers have announced its release date as Wednesday Season 2 will arrive in two parts.
Wednesday Season 2 Part 1 will release on Netflix on August 6, 2025, whereas, the Part 2 will be available to watch on September 3, 2025.
Jenna Ortega has also turned producer for the second season. While speaking about the show, she told Tudum, “Wednesday Addams is one of the coolest characters of all time, so to have gotten the opportunity to play her once was incredible, and then to be able to slip into the costume and tone again, it’s so much fun. She runs circles around everyone that she has a conversation with, so to play someone who’s so much more intelligent than you will ever be, it’s quite funny and strange and enjoyable.”
Creator Alfred Gough adds, “Season 1 really focused on Wednesday, but you met the other characters but didn’t get to know them, and now we get to expand their storylines and expand the scope and breadth of the show.”
Apart from Jenna, Wednesday Season 2 will also star Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Georgie Farmer, Naomi J. Ogawa, Christina Ricci, and Moosa Mostafa. Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor have joined the show as the new cast. Meanwhile, Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, and Joonas Suotamo will be seen as new guest stars.
