‘Wednesday Season 2 Part 2’ is gearing up for its premiere within a few days, and Lady Gaga’s involvement in the show has created more buzz. At an event for ‘Wednesday’, the singer made a surprise appearance for fans and announced her new single as well. The song will feature in ‘Wednesday Season 2 Part 2’.
While speaking about Gaga’s song, Jenna Ortega shared, “If you’re into Wednesday, if you’re into Lady Gaga, you should be very excited to see her in Part 2 — it really works. She’s unbelievable. She’s one of the few, rare instances of someone who is so clearly doing what they’re meant to be doing. Just being able to watch her and take her in is a surreal experience.”
“I’ve been a fan of her work for a long time. She makes great music, and she’s a great actress, so for me it was very easy. She’s a real artist, and I’m grateful for what she contributed to the show,” director and executive producer Tim Burton further added.
Earlier, in the trailer, we also get to hear a voice-over by Lady Gaga towards the end. The details about her character have been kept under wraps as of now, but it is certainly clear that Lady Gaga will be an important part of the show. Fans are yet to see the popstar-actor’s first look in ‘Wednesday Season 2’. In the end, she is heard saying, “Beware, there will be a price to pay.”
‘Wednesday’ stars Jenna Ortega in the title role. Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Georgie Farmer, Naomi J. Ogawa, and Moosa Mostafa have reprised their roles from the previous season. Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor have joined the show as the new cast. Meanwhile, Lady Gaga, Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, and Joonas Suotamo will be seen as new guest stars.
‘Wednesday Season 2 Part 2’ will have four episodes in total. All of them will release on the same day on September 3, 2025, on Netflix.
