Actress turned writer Twinkle Khanna embarked on a unique chapter in her life when, at the age of 48, she decided to pursue higher education. Opting for a course in fiction writing, she enrolled at Goldsmiths College, University of London. In a recent conversation with the YouTube channel “A Suitable Agency,” Twinkle opened up about her experiences during this transformative journey.

A Dual Admission Dilemma:

During the admission process, Twinkle Khanna found herself in a unique situation. Simultaneously, her son Aarav was also seeking admission to universities abroad. Recounting this period, she shared, “There was a university to which both of us had applied. And we were scared. It was not our first choice college, but in my mind I was like, ‘Oh my God, if I get admitted here, my son will be on campus and will see me. We’ll pretend not to know each other because that’s not cool at all.”
