Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh began their romantic journey on the set of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’ in 2012. Their relationship evolved from friendship, leading to a private wedding ceremony in Italy on November 14 and 15, 2018. Now, the couple is excitedly looking forward to beginning a family together.
In a recent interview with Vogue Singapore, Deepika highlighted the remarkable journey of Indian personalities, acknowledging their transition from being undervalued to representing one of the world’s largest luxury houses. She expressed pride in achieving this success on her own terms while staying true to her culture. Deepika emphasized that fame, for her, is not an isolated fascination; she sees it as a platform to make a positive impact. She believes our conscious or subconscious choices hold power in sending out subtle messages, particularly emphasizing her movie roles as a means to connect with and speak to her community.
“When I meet the people I have grown up with they always mention how I haven’t changed one bit. That says alot about our upbringing. My family keeps me grounded and Ranveer and I hope to inculcate the same values in our children,” Deepika said.
In addition, when asked about her plans for motherhood, Deepika responded with a smile, saying, “Absolutely. Ranveer and I have a deep love for children. We’re eagerly looking forward to the day when we can begin our own family.”
On the professional front, Deepika is set to appear in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter alongside Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor. She is also part of director Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD, sharing the screen with Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan, among others.
