New Delhi: Liger stars Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey are rigourously promoting the film. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, Liger is all set to release on August 25. The film stars Vijay Deverakonda alongside Ananya Panday, Ronit Roy and Ramya Krishna in pivotal roles. Mike Tyson is playing a cameo role in Liger. The film will release in Hindi and Telugu.
Now a video from a recent promotional event is doing rounds on the internet, where Vijay saves the day for Ananya. Actually, the actress was seen little uncomfortable with the black cut-out dress that she wore for the event. As Vijay noticed the same, he was seen turning her towards him. This shows Vijay’s humble and gentleman persona.

Meanwhile, Liger is already making hypes even since the trailer came out. But it’s songs are the highlights. All of the four songs that has been released are garnering much applause from the viewers and fans.
Liger marks the film debut of Deverakonda in Hindi cinema and Panday in Telugu cinema. The songs are composed by Tanishk Bagchi and Vikram Montrose. Principal photography began in January 2020 and suffered production delays after March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Filming resumed in February 2021 and after some other shooting suspensions in the pandemic, Liger was wrapped up in February 2022.
Since the trailer release, there have been rumours that Liger is the remake of Puri’s own Telugu 2003 release sports drama Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi. However, in a recent promotional event, Vijay debunked all these rumours and clarified that Liger is a completely original film.
