Watch: Minister Sparks Controversy At ‘Animal’ Pre-Release Event, ‘Telugu People Will Rule Over India’

Malla also said that Ranbir would have to shift to Hyderabad after one year as Bombay has become old.

Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal’ has created huge buzz among the audience ever since its trailer released. A pre-release event of the film was held in Hyderabad on Friday and was attended by many celebrities like SS Rajamouli, Mahesh Babu, Anil Kapoor, Malla Reddy, the Labor and Employment Minister of Telangana among others. A shocking statement made during the event by Malla is doing the rounds on social media now.

In a viral video, Malla Reddy can be seen coming on stage and telling Ranbir, “Ranbir ji, I want to tell you one thing. In the next five years, our Telugu people will completely rule over India, Bollywood, and Hollywood.”

Malla didn’t stop there and added that Ranbir would also have to shift to Hyderabad after one year as Bombay has become old. Bengaluru is traffic jammed. There is only one city in India and that is Hyderabad. Reddy’s speech left Ranbir embarrassed kept smiling during all this.

Fans soon started reacting to the video. A user wrote “Don’t take him seriously”, while another user wrote “he lives in his own world. He is known for his self dabba(vainglorious) speeches.

Animal co-stars Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles. The film will hit the theatres on December 1.
