Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR will team up the sequel of War, which has been creating buzz ever since its announcement. As fans are eagerly waiting to witness the biggest showdown between Hrithik and NTR, it has reported that the shooting of War 2 has been postponed. According to reports, Hrithik Roshan got injured while practising a dance sequence.
According to Bollywood Hungama, Hrithik Roshan was rehearsing for the energetic track for War 2 and it caused a serious injury. A source was quoted as saying, “Hrithik really pushed himself during the rehearsals of this energetic song with NTR Jr. for War 2. He got a niggle in his leg during rehearsals that was quite uncomfortable, and when the doctors inspected his injury, they advised him not to risk it further and to rest his leg before shooting this massive song!”
“The mega War 2 dance-off song featuring Hrithik and NTR Jr. will now be shot in May! All the principal actors have finished their respective shoots, and the film is already in post-production. This minor bump isn’t derailing any promotion/marketing plans for the film. War 2 will release theatrically worldwide on August 14, 2025!,” the source adds.
Meanwhile, it has also been reported that Hrithik Roshan will make a cameo appearance in ‘Alpha’, in which he will reprise his role of Kabir from ‘War’.
According to Pinkvilla, a source close to the project was quoted as saying, “Hrithik Roshan as Agent Kabir is ready for a crossover in Alpha. The actor is excited as this would mark the first-ever crossover of his character in the YRF Spy Universe. He plays the part of Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s mentor as a long-term plan of the universe.”
“Aditya Chopra and director Shiv Rawail have designed an extended cameo that does justice to the aura of Hrithik Roshan and the legacy of Agent Kabir. It’s a well-written sequence, that comes in an apt situation through the narrative of Alpha. Hrithik will get a proper high-octane introduction in the tale, and the cameo will lead itself to a massive action block featuring the trio of Hrithik, Alia and Sharvari,” the source added.
War 2 is the part of YRF Spy Universe, which also includes Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Tiger 3’, ‘Pathaan’ and ‘War’.
