‘War 2’, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR in the lead roles, has been released on the big screens after a long wait. The movie marks the first collaboration between the two superstars and also Jr NTR’s debut in Bollywood. ‘War 2’ is expected to open to incredible numbers at the box office but is facing tough competition from Rajinikanth-starrer ‘Coolie’.
War 2 Box Office Prediction Day 1:
According to Sacnilk, ‘War 2’ is expected to earn Rs 52.5 crore on day 1 across India. The movie collected the most in the Hindi belt with Rs 29 crore, followed by Telugu with Rs 23.25 crore and Tamil with only Rs 25 lakh.
Despite the hype and solid star cast, ‘War 2’ remains behind ‘Coolie’. Rajinikanth-starrer has collected Rs 65 crore on its opening day in India.

Apart from Hrithik and Jr NTR, ‘War 2’ also stars Kiara Advani in the lead role. Ashutosh Rana is seen in pivotal roles. The movie is directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films. It has been released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Before his big Bollywood debut with War 2, Jr NTR praised Hrithik and filmmaker Ayan Mukerji as he wrapped up filming. He wrote on Instagram, “And It’s a wrap for #War2! So much to take back from this one…It’s always a blast being on set with @iHrithik Sir. His energy is something I have always admired. There is so much I have learned from him on this journey of War 2. Ayan has been amazing. He has truly set the stage for a big surprise package for the audience. Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol have made surprising cameos in ‘War 2’. The latter was seen in the post-credit scene, which has set up the plot of ‘Alpha’, also starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in the lead roles. Bobby Deol will be seen as an antagonist in ‘Alpha’. Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor was introduced as the new R&AW chief after the death of Colonel Karan Luthra.
