Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia have teamed up for the first time in the fantasy drama film ‘Vvan’. The movie is an ambitious project and has created a hype among the fans. The makers are yet to unveil film’s first look but has now finally announced its release date.
Announcing the release date, the makers wrote, “The forest has whispered. The force will be unleashed on 15th May, 2026! Get ready for the big screen adventure! Starring @sidmalhotra and @tamannaahspeaks Directed by @arunabhkumar and @deepakmishra18 Produced by #BalajiMotionPictures and @tvfmotionpictures #VVAN – Force of the Forrest releasing on 15th May, 2026.”
Earlier, the announcement of Tamannaah Bhatia joining the movie was made with an intriguing video. Announcing the news, the makers wrote, “Rooted in Indian mythology and mysticism, VVAN – Force of the Forrest unfolds a tale straight from the pages of history and folklore. Delighted to welcome @tamannaahspeaks to this powerful narrative — a force in her own right, ready to command the screen like never before. Starring @sidmalhotra, Directed by @arunabhkumar and @deepakmishra18 Releasing in theatres in 2026.”
Vvan will be directed by Arunabh Kumar and Deepak Kumar Mishra, who are known for their work for TVF such as Panchayat, Permanent Roommates and many more. The movie will hit the theatres in 2026.
On the work front, Tamannaah Bhatia was recently seen in Odela 2 but the movie did not work well at the box office. Sidharth Malhotra was last seen in Yodha and will next star in Param Sundari with Janhvi Kapoor.
