Mohanlal will soon be back on the big screens with his upcoming action saga, ‘Vrusshabha’. The movie has been delayed several times but the makers have finally locked in a new date. ‘Vrusshabha’ is eyeing for Christmas 2025 release.

Vrusshabha will hit the theatres on December 25, 2025, coinciding with Christmas 2025.
Announcing the release date and sharing the new poster, Mohanlal wrote on X, “Some stories are more than cinema, they’re legacies. This Christmas, witness that legacy roar to life in #Vrusshabha. A film that celebrates emotion, grandeur, and destiny. Releasing worldwide on 25th December 2025.”

Talking about the film, director Nanda Kishore said, “Vrusshabha is not just a film, it’s an emotion. Working with the legendary Mohanlal has been an absolute honour; his presence elevates every frame and brings unmatched gravitas to the story. Playing the son is Samarjit, a young talent with incredible potential and charm. Ultimately, Vrusshabha is the powerful story of a father and son, and I can’t wait for audiences to experience it on the big screen.”
Presented by Connekkt Media and Balaji Telefilms in association with Abishek S Vyas Studios, Vrusshabha is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, C.K. Padma Kumar, Varun Mathur, Saurabh Mishra, Abishek S Vyas, Praveer Singh, Vishal Gurnani, and Juhi Parekh Mehta.
The movie also stars Samarjit Lankesh and Ragini Dwivedi in the lead roles. Vrusshabha will be a Pan Indian film shot simultaneously in Malayalam and Telugu, and dubbed in Hindi and Kannada.
