The internet is buzzing with a new AI trend that is, Studio Ghibli Art and social media is flooded with AI-created Ghibli-style images. From Bollywood stars to ordinary people everyone is trying recreating their image and sharing it on their social media .
Vishal Dadlani Calls Out AI Art
Amid this buzzing trend, Music composer Vishal Dadlani has recently called out and strongly criticised this trend, calling it ‘AI plagiarisation.’ Taking to social media, he requested fans not to make or tag him in any AI-generated Ghibli-style images of himself or for himself.
He wrote, “Sorry, I’m not sharing any of the Studio Ghibli-style images you guys have made of or for me. I just can’t bring myself to support AI’s plagiarisation of an artist’s life’s work.”

Vishal Dadlani also raised question about it’s environmental impact writing, “Not to mention, the environmental horror that those images are. Please do NOT make any more. Thank you.”

While Vishal refuses to participate many Bollywood celebrities have already embraced the trend including Kiara Advani, Parineeti Chopra, Amitabh Bachchan and more.
