During a press interaction Poonam Pandey encountered harassment when a random person attempted unwanted physical contact during a media event.
Actor-model Poonam Pandey was shocked during a paparazzi session on Friday, February 21. While she was talking to the paparazzi, a fan came up from behind, trying to take a selfie with her. When she agreed, the fan suddenly leaned forward and tried to kiss her, surprising Poonam, the photographers, and people nearby.
Poonam quickly pushed the fan away as soon as she realized what was happening. The paparazzi immediately stepped in to help, scolding the fan for his actions.

Some Instagram users believed the incident was planned. One user wrote, “Do I feel like this is scripted? The way she starts acting uncomfortable, I have doubts.” Another commented, “I can see how badly she acted it out.”
Last year, Poonam Pandey faked her death to raise awareness about cervical cancer. This caused a lot of shock, but she later revealed she was alive, which led to a lot of trolling.
Later in a video message, she said that, “I am alive. I did not die because of cervical cancer. Unfortunately, I cannot say that about those hundreds and thousands of women who have lost their lives because of cervical cancer. It is not because they couldn’t do anything about it but because they had no idea what to do about it. I am here to tell you that, unlike other cancers, cervical cancer is preventable. All you have to do is, you have to get your tests done and you have to get HPV vaccine.”
Over the years, Poonam Pandey has grabbed attention for her controversial comments, bold pictures on social media, and her troubled marriage and divorce from film producer Sam Bombay.
