New Delhi: Fans of Vikram Vedha, whose teaser pits its two leading actors, Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan, against one another, are in for a greater treat. On Sunday, Hrithik revealed that the eagerly anticipated action drama’s trailer will launch on September 8.

The announcement was accompanied by a brand-new Vikram Vedha poster that banked on Saif’s aggression and Hrithik’s cool demeanour. Although both actors are shown pointing guns as if on a battlefield, there is a clear contrast in their facial expressions and body language. Saif appears angry and retaliatory, whereas Hrithik appears calm while aiming his shot.

Vikram Vedha is the official Hindi remake of 2017 Tamil actioner of the same name. the film has been helmed by Pushkar Gaytri who also directed the original. The film starred R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi. The Hindi remake has Saif reprising Madhavan’s role, while Hrithik steps into Vijay’s character.

Since its announcement, Vikram Vedha has been one of the most eagerly awaited sequels, not only because it reunites two of the biggest stars in Hindi cinema, but also because the first one was a huge success. Three years after his action blockbuster War, Hrithik Roshan makes his screen comeback with Vikram Vedha. Saif’s most recent movie to hit theatres was YRF’s Bunty Aur Babli 2 in 2021.
